This is an epitaph inscribed at the South Block Building. It lists the name of the contractors who built the Seat of the Government of the largest democracy in the world - India.
Sobha Singh, whose name appears in the list of Builders of Delhi was actually Khushwant Singh's Grandfather. This epitaph appears near the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Mr Sobha Singh was the contractor for the whole of Lutyen's Delhi.
